Evolution v Creation

The 'theory of evolution' has shot to pieces the faith of many a Christian, and it will have prevented a multitude of people from coming to faith in Christ.  For if evolution is really true, then the very first chapter of the Bible is proved false and the Bible cannot be accepted as the very Word of God.

Sadly, today in Britain, evolution is no longer taught as a 'theory' in our schools and the media dedicate much of their programming schedules to broadcasting evolution as a fact. Those who believe in creation, as recorded in the book of Genesis, are often looked upon as 'less than intelligent', and they are given very little opportunity by the media to put forward the creationist argument.  Recently the BBC used a large part of our licence fee to promote and run a series of programmes 'Walking with Cavemen'. The word 'theory' was not used in any of the many adverts, and they have not given any significant airtime to the creationist viewpoint.  For the very many people who do not believe that we are related to monkeys this biased reporting and teaching needs to be addressed. It is time that the Biblical view of creation was given fair treatment in our schools and in the media.   

Thankfully, our Lord has raised up a wonderful work - The Biblical Creation Society - and it's website gives clear and concise reasoning as to why the theory of evolution is not true, and it strongly affirms the Biblical view of creation.  For Christians needing facts and information to engage in debate with evolutionists in school, in public and the workplace, this website will be a wonderful resource.  For others, who are struggling with the pressure to accept evolution as a fact, please carefully consider the arguments and reach a decision having listened to both sides of the argument.  Christians need to lobby, the media, and our education authorities, to ensure that they allow a balanced debate, and the information produced by the Biblical Creation Society will be a tremendous resource in this respect.  Click here to visit the Biblical Creation Society - www.biblicalcreation.co.uk
